今週は、bar miyako では常に大人気のNOTO GIN の生産者が、東京都大田区のBlue Rabbit 蒸留所とコラボして作り上げた新商品、ヴィクトリー・ウォッカ（ファーストバッチ）のご紹介です。
石川県の能登町の月桂樹の葉を使用した、甘く爽やかなフレーバードウォッカです。ウォッカトニックやモスコミュール、ソルティードッグなどのカクテルにも最適なヴィクトリーウォッカは、NOTO GIN と同じく、飲んで能登の復興支援にもなる1本です！
名前の由来は、古代ギリシアでは勝者や勝利の象徴とされていた月桂樹を使用していることから「毎日を頑張るあなた自身のために そして一緒に頑張る仲間のために 日常の小さな勝利に祝杯を上げていただきたい」という思いを込めてつけられたそうです。なんて素敵なお話！

We now have a bottle of the very first batch of Victory Vodka, a unique new spirit produced by the maker of NOTO GIN (that we all know and love), in collaboration with the Blue Rabbit Distillery in Tokyo.
The vodka is infused with bay leaves from the Noto Peninsula, which give it a sweet, herbal and refreshing taste. Great with soda, tonic or in a cocktail, Victory Vodka, like NOTO GIN, can provide an opportunity to send our thoughts to the disaster-stricken areas still in the process of recovering.
According to the manufacturers, bay leaves were used by the ancient Greeks to symbolize victory, or the victorious. Thus, they named the vodka Victory, so that we can all celebrate our daily victories, however small, over a drink with friends, loved ones, or just ourselves.
So, why not come in to the bar to celebrate something this week? We’re open from 7pm to 1am on weekdays, but just a note that we’ll be closed on Friday, Feb. 23, for a national holiday. Thank you for your understanding and hope to see you all back at the bar soon!
