今週は #barmiyako オープン当初から大人気の「カレー味のジン」ことオピア オリエンタル スパイスドジンの改めてのご紹介です！
オピアとはソロモン王時代に繁栄した伝説の地域の名前で、その当時は様々な金銀財貨や高価なスパイスがその地に集められたと言われています。その名前にちなんでオピアのジンにはカルダモンやクベバの実、クミンなどの東洋のボタニカルが使用されており、独特なスパイシーな味わいとなっています。トニックで割ると、なんと、ほのかにカレー味のジントニックが出来上がります！ご興味のある方はぜひお店でお試しください。
今週の#barmiyakoですが、10月22日(火)は祝日のため定休日となりますが、それ以外の平日は通常通り19時〜25時、土曜日は19時〜24時まで営業しております。皆様のお越しを心よりお待ち申し上げております！
This week’s feature is Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin – a long-time favorite among bar miyako patrons and referred to by many as the “curry-flavored gin.”
Opihr gets its name from a legendary region along the Ancient Spice Route which prospered during the reign of King Salomon, who is said to have regularly received cargoes of gold, silver and valuable spices. Keeping with the name, Opihr gin uses various oriental spices, such as cardamon, cubeb pepper and cumin, giving it a unique spicy profile. Mixed with tonic, it becomes … quite surprisingly a curry flavored gin and tonic! Please stop by for a taste if your interest is piqued.
This week, the bar will be closed on Tuesday, October 22 for a national holiday, but open as usual on Monday and from Wednesday-Friday from 7pm to 1am and on Saturday from 7pm to midnight. Hope to see you all back at the bar soon!
