#barmiyako is still on shortened hours of 6pm to 9pm this week, but we’re open on Saturday, February 5 (shortened hours), so hope to see you all back at the bar if we can!
Pictured is Brooklyn Gin, a smooth citrusy gin from New York which is perfect with tonic, or in a cocktail, or just on its own. Given the difficulty in traveling these days, why not have a crisp Bronx Terrace cocktail with Brooklyn Gin made by a gal from Queens if you’re in a New York state of mind? (Of course, you can always have a Manhattan made with the new rye whiskey available at bar miyako living.)
One tends to think of the UK when it comes to gin brands, but there’s now a growing legion of interesting gin made in North and South America. At bar miyako, our lineup of American gins include (from photo left) ungava from Canada, Koval dry and barreled gin from Chicago, Brooklyn gin (new addition!) from New York and Death’s Door gin from Wisconsin, USA and Dictador Orthodoxy gin from Columbia – all with a distinct aroma and flavor, so please stop by if you’d like a taste!
This week, bar miyako is open from Monday to Friday, 7pm to 1am. Please just note that we’ll be closed on Saturday, Feb. 10, Sunday Feb. 11 and Monday, Feb. 12 (national holiday). Thank you so much for your understanding and hope to see you soon!
