It’s the rainy season in Tokyo but why let that stop you from coming in and enjoying a nice drink, or two, or three? We’ve restocked Ichiro’s Malt — Wine Wood Reserve, Mizunara Wood Reserve and Double Distilleries and also have some Malt & Grain, so please come in if you’d like a taste of Ichiro’s, a Japanese whisky made in Saitama, just north of Tokyo.

bar miyako is open as usual this week from 7pm to 1am Mondays to Fridays, and from 7pm to midnight on Saturdays. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

タンカレーは1830年、ロンドンのブルームズバリー蒸留所で設立者のチャールズ・タンカレーが20歳代という若さで生み出したプレミアムジン。そのレシピと製法は、現在にいたるまで門外不出とのことですが、その味わいからジンのロールズロイスとも称されることも！bar miyakoでは４種類のタンカレー（タンカレーロンドンドライジン、タンカレーナンバーテン、タンカレーラングプール、タンカレーブルームズバリー）を用意しておりますので、それぞれの詳細と味わいについてご興味のある方はぜひお店で！

The abundance of unique and delectable craft gins available today make it a great time for gin lovers, but sometimes its nice to step back and remember the long-loved classic premium gins, such as Tanqueray.

Tanqueray gin was initially distilled in 1830 in the Bloomsbury district of London by founder Charles Tanqueray, who was in his early 20s at the time. The recipe is a closely guarded trade secret, but its dry and crisp taste is loved by many around the world and is sometimes referred to as the Rolls Royce of gin. At bar miyako, we have four types of Tanqueray (Tanqueray London Dry, Tanqueray Number Ten, Tanqueray Rangpur and Tanqueary Bloomsbury) so please come in if you’d like a taste and to find your favorite type.
