bar miyako and paper plane

今週は、個人的に大いにハマっているバーボンとアペロールをベースに作る「ペーパープレーン」というショートカクテルのご紹介です！本場のレシピではアマーロノニーノを使用するようですが、日本ではなかなか手に入らないため、ベネディクティンを代用していますが、甘みと酸味とバーボンのガッツリ感のバランスがたまらない一杯です。ご興味のある方はぜひ試しにいらしてください！

今週の #barmiyako は通常通り平日の19時〜25時まで、土曜の19時〜24時まで営業しております。皆様のお越しを心よりお待ち申し上げております！

One of my favorite cocktails at the moment is the bourbon-based Paper Plane. The original recipe calls for Amaro Nonino, but given the spirit’s lack of availability in Japan, I’ve replaced it with Benedictine. It still packs a refreshing punch and is quite lovely, so please stop by for a visit if your interest is piqued.

This week, I’m open as usual from 7pm to 1am on weekdays and 7pm to midnight on Saturday. Hope to see you all back at the bar soon!

#barmiyako で根強い人気を博すサントリー、ニッカ、イチローズモルトなどのジャパニーズウィスキーのラインアップに、富山県の若鶴酒造の「ムーングロウ クレッセント2018」が加わりました！

大正7年（1918年）に誕生した若鶴酒造は、北陸でただひとつのウイスキー蒸留所である三郎丸蒸留所でウィスキーを製造。昨年の創立100周年を記念し、1960年蒸留の三郎丸のモルトに富山県産のミズナラ後熟グレーンなどの原酒を特別にブレンドしたのがこのムーングロウです。甘さとスモーキーさが心地よく調和された逸品ですので、ご興味のある方はぜひお店で。

今週の bar miyako ですが月曜〜金曜までは通常通り19時〜25時まで営業しておりますが、23日(土)は祝日のため定休日となります。ご不便をおかけいたしますがどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

bar miyako has a new addition to its popular Japanese whisky lineup, the jazzy sounding Moon Glow Crescent 2018, made by Wakatsuru Shuzou.

While lesser known than Suntory, Nikka or Ichiro’s Malt, Wakatsuru Shuzou, located in Toyoma Prefecture, is one of Japan’s long-established distilleries dating back to 1918. Last year, to commemorate its 100th anniversary, it released Moon Glow Crescent, a sweet and smoky blend of 1960s malt whisky from its Saburomaru distillery and Toyama-grown grain whisky. Please come in for a taste if your interest is piqued!

This week, bar miyako is open as usual from 7pm to 1am from Monday to Friday, but please just note that it will be closed on Saturday, November 23 for a national holiday. Apologies for any inconvenience, but hope to see you all back at the bar soon!
