bar miyako and noto gin

令和6年1月1日に発生した石川県能登半島地震で犠牲となられた方々にお悔やみ申し上げるとともに、被災された方々とそのご家族に心からお見舞い申し上げます。一日も早い復興をお祈りしています。

能登半島は大好きな大好きなNOTO GINの発祥の地。（倉庫の中は無事だったようです！）何かできることはないかとずっと考えていたのですが、微力も微力ながら、現在お店にあるNOTO GINを飲んでいただいた方からのお代の一部を能登半島地震の災害義援金として寄付したいと思います。ぜひ美味しいジンを飲みながら能登復興を応援しましょう！

今週の月曜日は祝日のためお店はお休みになりますが、火曜〜金曜の19時〜25時まで営業しておりますので、ぜひお立ち寄りください。

bar miyako would like to express our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake on January 1. Our thoughts go out to those suffering in the aftermath and we pray for a speedy recovery.

We know that this may not be much, but we hoped to do something for Noto, which is where the amazing Noto Gin was developed and is currently stored. So we have decided to donate a portion of our proceeds from Noto Gin sales to official emergency relief funds. It’s the least we can do … and the gin is absolutely lovely, so please take this opportunity to try some, if you haven’t already.

This week, the bar is closed on Monday, January 8 for a national holiday, but open from 7pm to 1am from Tuesday to Friday, so hope to see you all back at the bar!

今週は、ジンでも名の知れた広島のSAKURAO DISTILLERYのシングルモルトウィスキー、「桜尾」のご紹介です。

広島県廿日市にあるSAKURAO DISTILLERYは瀬戸内海と中国山地の間に位置し、海からの暖かい風と山からの冷たい風が大きな気温差を作り出しているとのことです。その気温差が、ウイスキーの熟成を早めているとされています。

バニラの甘さの中にもスモーキさと、ほのかな瀬戸内の潮の香りも感じられる桜尾にご興味のある方はぜひお店で！（また、桜尾のジンもございますので、ジン好きの方はぜひそちらもどうぞ！）

今週は平日の19時〜25時、土曜日の19時〜24時まで営業しております。皆様のお越しを心よりお待ち申し上げております！

This week we’re introducing the “Sakurao,” a single malt whisky from the SAKURAO DISTILLERY in Hiroshima Prefecture.

According to the distillery, which is located between the Seto Inland Sea to the south and the Chugoku Mountains to the north, the difference in temperatures between the warm sea air and cold mountain winds helps to accelerate the maturation process, creating a sweet yet peaty whisky with a hint of Seto Inland sea air.

The distillery also makes a series of lovely Japanese gins, which we also have at the bar, so please stop by if your interest is piqued!

This week, we’re open from 7pm-1am on weekdays, and from 7pm to 12am on Saturday. Hope to see you all back the bar soon!
